GCSP Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification
GCSP Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification
After nearly a year-long process of preparation and assessment, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) recently achieved ISO 9001:2015 Organisation certification.
ISO 9001 certification is an international standard for quality management that respects a rigorous criteria and is based on three quality management principles:
- Management system & organisational context
- Management & Leadership and Planning
- Resources and Support
ProCert carried out the audit and the auditors particularly praised the relevance of indicators used to monitor the quality of the GCSP’s services; the management of skills and experience through the evaluation of the performances achieved; the considerable work carried out to describe the processes involved; the thorough identification of risks and opportunities and the quality information and attractive communication systems. The auditors also provided useful recommendations that will be implemented before the Surveillance Audit for spring 2021.
Our ISO 9001 certification doubled equally with the retention of the EduQua certification, which was first awarded to the GCSP in 2017. EduQua is the Swiss national quality assurance body geared toward both public and private adult continuing education institutions.
