Call for GlobalArctic book chapters
Call for GlobalArctic book chapters
We are currently opening a call for book chapters (8000-9000 words) for our third GlobalArctic edited volume. While our first (published in 2019) and second (published in 2022) GlobalArctic books were published by Springer, this book will be published by Palgrave MacMillan.
Chapters should cover the question of Arctic Governance within the context of the New Cold War after February 2022. They can be historical (past and future evolution of Arctic Governance), descriptive (examples of governance in the arctic in various areas, such as fisheries, conflict resolution, and de-escalation, or scientific cooperation, among others), conceptual (for example, possible institutional arrangements for future Arctic governance) or prospective (possible future approaches to Arctic governance). We also remain open to other proposals addressing the issue of future Arctic governance.
If you are interested in contributing, please submit a 300-500 word abstract, including a chapter structure, by April 15th, 2023, to either one of us, coeditors of this third GlobalArctic book.
