The GCSP invites you to a public launch event of the 2019 Global Peace Index (GPI). The 2019 Global Peace Index ranks 163 countries according to levels of societal safety and security, militarization, and ongoing conflict. Created by the Institute for Economics and Peace, the report presents the most comprehensive data-driven analysis to-date on trends in peace and its economic value. It is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness. The launch comes at a time when geopolitical tensions are high and chronic conflicts across the globe are rising exposing more and more countries to war, terrorism, sabotage risk, coups and civil unrest.

The report findings will be presented by Serge Stroobants and will be followed by Ms Florence Foster and Ms Annika Hilding Norberg’s analysis of the findings. Dr Christina Schori Liang will chair the event.

A light buffet buffet will be served from 12:00.
