25 years of Learning Journey through European Security - An Alumni Event
The European Security Course (ESC) celebrates its 25th anniversary with an online event bringing together a community of alumni and former faculty.
The European Training Course in Security Policy (ETC) was created in 1997 by the GCSP for civilian and military officials from national Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, from other relevant administrations and the civil society. Today we count a total of 565 alumni from 86 countries
The course has expanded steadily since its creation and includes an increasing number of participants from inside and outside Europe who want to better understand European security policy, the European security architecture, and how Europe interfaces with other regions.
In its 2021 edition the course builds on its long tradition of analysing a wide range of security challenges relative to Europe and addresses possible solutions.
