Crisis Management: Navigating the Storm - Geneva Edition 2020
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the “Crisis Management : Navigating the Storm” and the “Critical Incident Management” courses have been merged into a blended learning event that comprises of two parts:
- Part 1 - Crisis Management – What do I need to Know? a 1 day virtual course to be run on 10th June 2020.
- Part 2 - Crisis Management – What do I need to Do? a 3.5 day face to face course scheduled to be held at GCSP in Geneva between 6th-9th October 2020.
In this new offering, GCSP Crisis Management will integrate many aspects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic experiences and learning into both parts.

Overcoming the mindset of fear and developing the muscle memory of crisis response is the objective of the GCSP Crisis Management courses. Rather than a tick-box approach of a process driven response participants will learn to recognise and adapt the psychological and organisational elements of crisis management. This is achieved by combining latest theory, best practice and lessons learnt using real time simulations that enable participants to explore their resilience as individuals, team members and leaders.
The course is designed for officials and executives from:
- government,
- military,
- international organisations,
- non-profits and,
- the corporate sector.
