Recent geopolitical developments have predominantly shifted global attention toward traditional hard security issues such as military capabilities, defence strategies and territorial integrity. Consequently, political momentum for addressing human security challenges has significantly waned.

In this context, neglecting human security risks undermining sustainable peace and stability.
