Discover the trends in peace worldwide, the economic value of peace and how to develop peaceful societies.
How do you define and measure peacefulness? What is the impact of global shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate emergency, economic tensions, deepening inequalities, new technologies and the rise of violent conflicts on the future of peace? In this challenging context, what key drivers can help us build more peaceful societies?
We are pleased to partner with the Institute for Economics & Peace to launch and discuss the new annual Global Peace Index (GPI). The GPI presents a comprehensive analysis of trends in peace worldwide, the economic value of peace and how to develop peaceful societies. It also includes an analysis of trends in Positive Peace: the attitudes, institutions, and structures that can create and sustain peaceful societies.
